ABOUT US

We are a legally licensed in Indonesia operating under the name
Kantor Hukum Segara Pasifik (Registration No. AHU-0002167-AH.01.22 Year 2023), based in Jakarta and established in 2023. Founded by two colleagues united by a deep passion for inclusive marine governance, our firm places this shared commitment at the heart of our identity.

The name Segara Pasifik reflects not only where we work, but how we think. Segara means “sea” or “ocean” in both Indonesian and Javanese, rooted in the Sanskrit word sāgara (सागर), which speaks to the vastness and depth of the ocean. Pasifik, while referring to the Pacific region, also holds a deeper meaning for us: it represents a culture of interconnection, a way of understanding the sea as a space that links rather than separates. It is through this lens of connectivity—between ecosystems, people, and legal systems—that we approach our work, building pathways between local realities and global frameworks.
